Koenig Krieg , A Battle from "The Wolfenbuttal War" by Charles S. Grant

Tried out a scenario from one of Charles S.Grants wargame scenario books "The Wolfenuttel War". I played out the first scenario. I used my 15mm Pussian and Austrian 7 years war armies as the protagonist. There are four senarios in the book. I plan on playing out the campaign... I used the orders of battle from the book, and the terrain layout from the map in the book. The Austrians were the agreesors in the campaign, Thus, the deployed and went after the defending Prussians. It was a good match and the Austrians eventually won the field. They had to get across the river and drive the Prussians off after some very tough infantry and cavalry engaements. The Austrian and Prussian heavy cavalry brigades had some great melee clashes!!
