Boxer Rebellion Game

This games was played a few months ago. We used " Spearhead WWI" rules. The Figures were mostly 15mm "Old Glory" and some "Essex" miniatures. The terrain was Chucks', AKA..Chucha Zulu.
Based on Seymores attempt to get to Peking. This was a major road block postionset up by the Chinese Imperial troops and about 2000 Boxers.
The Imperial troops were inside of two forts, and the Boxers were grouped behind the small fort in a village.
the Western Allied forces of about 2500 men ( 4 battalions two batteries and a gattleing gun battery). British Marine Battalion, Allied Naval Battalion, and two Indian Battalions.
The battle lasted several turns. With the Western Allies being turned back! The Imperials stood firm in their forts. The Allies got shot-up pretty badlyand could not get the Chinese to break. Thus, the Western Forces retreated back to there main supply base and will wait for further reinforcements. It was a good game and we all had a good time.
